Just two hours north east of Adelaide, the Riverland is the largest wine producing area in Australia and most major Australian wine companies source grapes and wine from here.

The first vines in the region were planted a century ago after Canadian William and George Chaffey established South Australia’s first irrigation scheme at Renmark, and later at Berri and Loxton.

In 1910, Thomas Angove built a distillery in Renmark to cater for an over-supply of drying grapes.

We have been growing wine grapes and citrus above Renmark overlooking the mighty Murray River since 1990.

With abundant sunshine, the region has a warm, dry climate and combined with the lack of humidity, provides ideal growing conditions.

Sandy loams over limestone and controlled drip irrigation allow growers to control yields and produce disease free grapes, perfect for premium wines, consistently each year.
